E MU 0202 WINDOWS 7 DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS

Some have reported selecting XP Compatilibility mode, while others didn’t. But I can’t find any specific advice for this problem. On my older PC, setting a latency of 2ms helped the card start reliably. I will give this a try but I am seriously considering wiping everything and downgrading to windows XP! At the end it asks you to put the CD back in.

This happens at the exact last part of the setup. The first Windows 7 boot CD. I am using a Dell Inspiron laptop. Windows 7 64 bit has an E-MU driver resident in the operating system. Have you tried other usb ports? On wihdows older PC, setting a latency of 2ms helped the card start reliably.

If it only powers from the USB port, be sure nothing else is on the port. If the unit comes with a power supply, try using that instead powering e mu 0202 windows 7 the USB port. Use the default CW filter in the K3 when doing this. A ballpark setting can be found using this formula When you put it in it updates all existing drivers to fit Windows 7s needs.
